Leise rieselt der Schnee...

...zwar leider nicht in München aber in den Alpen. Die letzten drei Tage haben wir im Zillertal verbracht. Mama und Papa waren beim Ski bzw. Snowboard fahren und Emmi hatte viel Spass mit Oma, Opa und Tante Sabine.

There is no snow in Munich yet, but a lot in the alps. We've spent the past three days at a skiing resort in Austria. Mama and Daddy got to go skiing and Emmi got to hang out with Oma, Opa and Tante Sabine.

Spass im Schwimmbad und auf dem Christkindlmarkt...

Gestern waren wir mit Oma im Schwimmbad und Emmi hatte viel Spass. Baden ist eine ihre Lieblingsbeschäftigungen und im grossen Becken anstatt in der Badewanne wars noch viel besser.

We went swimming yesterday and Emmi loved it. She likes the tub, but the big pool was even better.

Today we took the train to Bad Tölz to visit the Christmas Market. It was freezing cold and we really had to bundle up but it still was a lot of fun.

Heute ging es mit dem Zug nach Bad Tölz zum Christkindlmarkt. Es war richtig kalt aber trotzdem lustig.

Emmi mit Oma & Opa

Jetzt bin ich mal dazu gekommen ein paar Fotos runterzuladen. Zwischen Christkindlmärkten, Tollwood und vielen Besuchern vergeht die Zeit schon wieder viel zu schnell. Heute morgen ist auch endlich der Papa in München angekommen und schläft sich jetzt gerade erstmal richtig aus. Ausser ein bisschen Schneeregen ist der grosse Schnee bis jetzt noch ausgeblieben, aber bis Weihnachten ist ja noch Zeit.

I finally managed to upload some pictures. We have been busy with all those Christmasmarkets and time is going by so fast already. Daddy finally arrived in Munich this morning and is taking a good nap right now. We are so happy to have him with us now. It's been freezing here but we haven't had a lot of snow. But hopefully that will change soon.

Endlich angekommen

Wir sind gestern in Muenchen angekommen und Emmi hat endlich ihren Opa und ihre Tante kennengelernt und ihre Oma wiedergesehen. Los gings erstmal mit Stress in Austin weil Mama den falschen Reisepass eingepackt hatte. Aber dank unseres Rennfahrer Papas war der richtige Pass dann in letzter Minute doch noch da!! Emmi hat fast den ganzen Flug geschlafen und mit 1,5 Stunden verspaetung waren wir um 11:30 Uhr in Muenchen. Fotos gibt es bald.

We arrived in Munich yesterday and Emmi finally got to meet her Grandpa and her Aunt and saw her Grandma again. We started off with a little panic in Austin since Mama packed the wrong Passport. But thanks to our Formula 1 driver Daddy we got the right Passport last minute. Emmi slept almost all the way and we arrived in Munich with a 1,5 hour delay. I'll try to post some pics soon.

4 Monate alt und schon auf grosser Reise!!

Deutschland wir kommen!! Morgen geht es endlich los... Wir freuen uns schon Weihnachten mit der Familie in Muenchen zu verbringen. Dugan muss leider noch arbeiten und kann erst am 13. Dezember nachkommen. Die Koffer sind gepackt!! Ich werde versuchen auch waehrend unseres Urlaubs oefter mal Fotos auf unseren Blog zu stellen. Und morgen ist nicht nur Emmi erste grosse Reise, sondern auch ihr 4 Monats Geburtstag!!

We are off to Germany tomorrow!! We can't wait to spend Chrismas with the Family in Germany. Dugan still has to work and will join us on December 13th. The bags ar packed. I'll try to still post some pictures during our stay in Germany. And tomorrow is not only Emmis first big trip, but also her 4-months-birthday!

Ein weihnachtliches Thanksgiving

Fuer Thanksgiving waren wir dieses Jahr bei MeMe und Granddaddy in Houston. Und da wir dieses Jahr Weihnachten in Deutschland sind gab es fuer Emmi auch gleich Bescherung. (Hoffentlich gewoehnt sie sich da nicht dran, zweimal an Weihnachten Geschenke zu bekommen.) MeMe hatte wieder viel Spass jede Menge Fotos von Emmi zu machen. Ueber 200 in 3 Tagen!!! Und Emmi hatte kein Problem immer schoen froehlich zu posieren :-).

We got to spend Thanksgiving in Houston with MeMe & Granddaddy. Emmi already got to open her Christmas presents since we'll be in Germany for Christmas this year. I hope she won't get used to getting Christmas presents twice ;-) . MeMe had a lot of fun dressing Emmi up and taking lots of pictures. About 200 in 3 days!!! And Emmi happily posed for all of them. She loves the attention!!

Emmi hat dieses Jahr keine Zeit verloren und sich gleich mal mit dem Weihnachtsmann gut gestellt. Bis jetzt hat ihr anscheinend noch niemand gesagt dass in Muenchen ja das Christkind die Geschenke bringt...
Emmi didn't lose any time this year to become best buddies with Santa Clause. Nobody told her yet that it will be the Christmas Angel in Germany who will be bringing presents this year...

Emily ist 3 Monate alt...

Emmi ist jetzt schon drei Monate alt!! Die Zeit vergeht so schnell.

Inzwischen kann sie sich vom Bauch auf den Ruecken und umgekehrt drehen. Greifen klappt auch immer besser und im Moment uebt sie kraeftig sitzen. Unsere Kleine ist in ihrer Entwicklung auf der Ueberholspur... Und wie suess sie lachen kann habt ihr ja im letzten Video schon gesehen.

Letze Woche Montag war die Fotografin da und hat ihre drei Monats Fotos gemacht...

Emmi is already three monhts old! Time is going by so fast. She can roll from her back to her belly and the other way around and she is really getting good at grabbing things. Right now she is working on sitting up. Our little on is on the fast track!!

Schnappschuesse - Snapshots

Happy Halloween!!

Gestern war Emmis erstes Halloween und wir haben massenweise Suessigkeiten ausgeteilt. Nachdem Mamas Versuch ein Baerenkostuem fuer Emily zu naehen leider fehlgeschlagen ist (War am Ende ungefaehr zwei Nummern zu klein ), gab's ein gekauftes Kostuem, was aber auch wirklich suess war. Wir freuen uns schon naechstes Jahr selbst mit ihr um die Haeuser zu ziehen.

Keegan alias Curious George and The Man in the Yellow Hat

Emmi's first Halloween! Mama tried to make Emily's costum herself but it turned out about two sizes too small :-( , but we thought she looked adorable in her Pumpkin Outfit too. We handed out lots of treats and can't wait to take her Trick or Treating next year.

Neue Freunde

Emily hatte heute ihre erste Krabbelgruppe. Ari (5 monate), Jackson (3 monate) und Kalan (4 monate) sind alles Babies aus unserem Geburtsvorbereitungskurs. Gekrabbelt wurde noch nicht viel, aber Spass hatten alle Mamas und Babies.

Emily had her first playdate today. Kalan (4 months), Ari (5 months) and Jachson (3months) are all babies from our birthing class. They didn't play much yet, but Mommy's and Babies had a good time anyway.

Am Wochenende stand ein Ausflug zum Pumpkin Patch auf dem Programm. Traditionell wird beim Pumpkin Patch der Kuerbis fuer Halloween ausgesucht. Ausserdem gibt es Traktorfahrten, Pony reiten... und natuerlich jede Menge Fotogelegenheiten :-)
