Morning Ritual

Dugan hat uns gestern mit Fruehstueck im Bett ueberrascht was Emmi und Ich beide super fanden :) . Emmi hat fast den ganzen Blaubeer Muffin alleine verdrueckt! Ich hab dann gleich noch Emmi's normale Morgenroutine auf Foto festgehalten. Die sieht normalerweise so aus: Sobald sie die Augen aufschlaegt ist das erste aus ihrem Mund "Milch!" "Bitte!". Manchmal hat sie die Augen sogar noch zu. Papa holt dann ihre Flasche mit Milch und wir kuscheln im Bett waehrend Papa sich fuer die Arbeit fertig macht. Dann hilft Emmi Papa Mittagessen einpacken und traegt es fuer ihn zum Auto wo sie dann auf dem Beifahrersitz die Einfahrt mit runter fahren darf. Jeden Morgen...

Dugan surprised us with Breakfast in Bed yesterday what Emmi and I really liked :). Emmi ate almost an entire Blueberry Muffin! I took pictures of Emmi's usual Morning Ritual after that. It starts with her waking up and immediately asking for Milk. And she does it in a voice like you would expect someone to ask for water after spending a day in the desert without. Very pittiful. Papa goes and get's her Milk (which has to be heated for 30 seconds in the microwave or it is undrinkable according to Emmi) and then we snuggle in bed while Papa gets ready for work. After that Emmi loves to help get Papa's Lunch ready and carry it to the car. And the highlight of her morning is that she gets to ride on the passenger seat down the driveway.
