Christmas Eve

Apparently word got out to the right places that we had moved across the Atlantic this year, from the land of Santa Claus to the land of the Christmas Angel. It meant that those two little elves weren't disappointed when the bell rang on Christmas Eve and they entered Oma's and Opa's living room with the Chrismas tree lit up and lots of presents for each little elf :)

Baking Christmas Cookies by the Dozens

Oma had lots of help this year baking Christmas Cookies!

Those little fingers never got tires kneading the dough...

...rolling it, baking it...

...and turning them into lots of delicious Christmas treats...

...that were enjoyed by all.

Advent Calendar

I made this Advent Calendar when Emmi was a Baby and we have hung it up every year. For every day from December 1st until Christmas a little surprise awaits Emmi and Lily every morning. Is there any better way to start the day then with a piece of Chocolate?

First Snow

We enjoyed the first snow of the season in mid December but have been waiting for more of this fun stuff ever since. It's been unseasonably warm and snowless in Germany this winter so far. But chances are it's still coming...
